Surely Mr Daily of the Glasgow-based Sunday Standard must have been at a different game from the one that The Scotsman's Own Correspondent saw?
The legendary Gregor Stevens (half animal, half another animal) tries to relieve Gary Murray of his face during the game. The caption in the short-lived Glasgow paper simply stated that the two players were "tangled up in a tackle". Ahem...
