VSO sends skilled and experienced volunteers to work with communities in the developing world, and campaigns in Britain to change attitudes towards the South. VSO is a UK registered charity, No. 313757.

The Edinburgh and South East Scotland Local VSO Group exists to support the activities of VSO in the Edinburgh Area. We are involved in fundraising, recruitment, development education and volunteer support activities, as well as some purely social events. Most events take place at members' homes, and most (but not all) of our current members are returned volunteers.

Our monthly get-together, and an ideal opportunity for prospective and returned volunteers to ask questions and share experiences. If no-one’s there at 7-30, stick around – someone will turn up soon!
